Kendall Scores 23!

In the regional tournament last night at Jessieville. Kendall was the high scorer for Arkansas Baptist High School with 23 points. He is a sophomore and a starter  for the team. We played Barton and won by about 20 points.

We went by AR Baptist and checked Caroline out of school so she could go to the game with us. Francis, Kim and Jeff also rode with us. Kendall rode home with us.

A good time was had by all! The games will get tougher and tougher Friday night, Saturday night of this week and we are already qualified for the state tournament at Riverview next week so we can expect some tough, tough games. We will have to play our best.

JEFF GETS DOUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeff's 9th grade basketball team won the district championship last night at Jessieville. Ryan had 21 points. The game before he went 5 for 5 from the 3-point range. Dakota and Drake had 11 points each. It was a great win--by about 15 points against Episcopal. The players drenched Jeff after the game. I used to think watching my sons play was hard (although incredible fun) but I think watching them coach is even harder.

Thank God for games like basketball that are so much fun but teach us so much about life. I loved the way the players prayed together after the game. To God be the glory--great things he has done.
