Daydream Believer

I have always been a dreamer--day dreamer that is!

Type A personalities would never understand this--I don't think.

But, well, those of us who do it, can't imagine life without the dreams.

I dream of little things, big things, God-sized dreams, foolish dreams, realistic dreams,

dreams about the future, dreams about the here and now,

dreams about yesterday and dreams about eternity.

Have you ever thought of this?

Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our Savior are already living in eternity.

We are smack dab in the middle of eternity.

If eternity has a middle.

Since it has no beginning and no ending, it probably doesn't have a middle.

So just strike that statement.

I read this the other day (that we are already living in eternity) and was taken aback
at first but the more I thought about it,

the more I realized, it really is true--

We have already passed from death to life--eternal life.

And what better way to live our dreams, our eternal life dreams than with music.

Humming a little song today.

Hope you are too.

God is so smart.

He made everything so absolutely wonderful!

And don't you just love that music is written in an international language--

So everyone from every tribe and tongue can sit down and play together.

That really blows my mind.

I really don't want to offend anyone--

If you are a Type A personality and daydream,

would you share that?

"I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."--Jesus

Love this Dianne! I am a fellow dreamer and appreciate the "international language" of music as well. Thank you for prompting my meditation on this nugget of truth today: "Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our Savior are already living in eternity." Awesome!

I've heard that teaching before and I agree. And, yes, I am a dreamer, always have been, always will be and that goes for music as well. If I'm not listening to music on the stereo or computer then I'm singing. It helps the day turn out right to keep a song in your heart in one way or another.
Your photo is really beautiful. You're an amazing photographer.
Love you~

I used to be a Type A personality but have mellowed out, thanks to the Lord. I'm a huge dreamer, always have been.
My favorite dream, especially when troubled, is walking along the beach with the Lord. I've imagined it so many times, that now, when i think of it I can almost feel the sand between my toes. It's the same when I imagine His hand upon my shoulder, every morning- every night. I dreamed about that so much that when troubled, it's one of the first things that comes to mind (feeling the slight pressure of His hand, resting upon my shoulder- hearing Him say "It's alright. I'm here).
This post is very precious; will remain will me always.
Thank you, dear heart. Love you much. Enjoy your SHINY moments.
I'd love it if you'd stop by my Let's Chat blog (http://barb-letschat.blogspot.com).
As well, I have new post in my Spiritual blog. I think you'll like it. It's something the Lord helped me understand.
