If my people who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin, and heal their land. 1 Chronicles 7:14
So my friend, if we are one of God's people, it looks as if it is up to us to humble ourselves and pray and seek God's face and turn from our wicked ways,
then God will come and forgive us and heal our land. What a wonderful promise from God!
I pray that God will show us what our wicked ways are. It sounds like such a harsh, cruel word but God's definition can be something as simple as gossiping about our brothers or sisters. God give us eyes to see and ears to hear without being offended.
