The law of the Lord is perfect reviving the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure--enduring forever.
The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.
They are more precious than gold, much pure gold;
They are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.
In keeping them, there is great reward.
Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up , you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?

I can't go on a nature walk everyday in a distant city as I did today. But I can go to the Word-- I can go to His precepts, I can go to His statutes, I can go to His ordinances, I can go to His commandments. And in going to them, I can find rest, I can find wisdom, I can find restoration for my soul, I can find radiance for my eyes, I can find strength for my bones. His Word promises me these benefits and multitudes more.
