Mommy, Mommy,
I learned about God today!
Close your eyes and listen, can you hear Him?
He talks to us in a quiet voice.
A bird's song, the rustling of the leaves,
He speaks at times with silence.
Reach out, Mommy, can you feel Him?
He's all around us.
Touch a flower, or a blade of grass and He's there.
Feel the wind as it blows your hair,
It's the breath of God.
And most wonderful of all, we can see Him--
Look in the mirror, now look at me,
The love that's in us all--that's God!
What a Miracle indeed!
