Nip in the Air

Photobucket

seventies yesterday
high in fifties today
oh the glory of red and black flannel pj's
similar to coverlet thrown over wicker here
cloudy and thunderstorms
favorite kind of weather
curl up on sofa with good Francine Rivers book
long, hot months a fading memory
once brittle autumn leaves
feathering down
sipping their last drink of summer

I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. Deut. 11:14

2010-the Year of Longings

a month of giving thanks--thank you, Lord, for drenching rains--
